Thoracic outliet syndrom
The anterior and/or middle scalene presses on the thoracic bundle and causes neurological symptoms in the affected arm.
Flexing the neck has what effect on facets?
Opens them
Facet joint pain
Sharp, localized pain
Palpatory assessment for C7-C2
Translational assessment, flexed and extended
Palpatory assessment for C2-C1
Rotation of the joint, neck in flexed position
Palpatory assessment for C1-C0
Tip the joint, then test how well the joint can side-bend.
