In order to combat this people need to adopt marketing skills like social media marketing which along with web development will become a rising skill in the coming years. Skills are rapidly changing. Some skills like software development managment have fallen while other skills like AI, big data and cloud computing are have risen considerably.

CFO’s are focusing on maintaining a certain portion of their employees to be permenantly remote. They are also focusing on putting less money into salesmanship and and customer managment.

Instagram rose to popularity very quickly and was aquired by facebook for one billion. It initially started off acting independently from facebook but once the initial cofounders left the company, facebook seems to have more control over it. Tick tok emerged in the midst of controversies related to social media about privacy, mental health and online bullying and became very popular as an entertainment site for online videos. In the future, social media will take making connections a step further by making it feel like the person you are communicating with is right in front of you.
