A
Multisystem disorder resulting from chronic granulomatous response to Restrictive lung disease

Investigation
A
CXR
Histopathology:
-giant cell and epitheloid granulomas
-lymphoid infiltrate

Signs
A
- Kveim test: insert section of sarcoidosis spleen- if there is an inflammatory response then confirmed diagnosis
- High calcium in serum
- Tuberculin test

Symptoms
A
- If young: arthylgia, erythema nodosum
- SOB, cough, abnormal CXR
- abnormal CXR- no symptoms

Treatment
A
Mild: no treatment
NSAID- for arthylgia, erythema nodosum
Topical steroids- for skin lesions and cough
Systemic steroids- for neuro/cardio symptom
