Loss of consciousness

A
CT head
Lumbar puncture - rule out meningitis

How is a SAH managed?
A
Neurosurgical referral - decompression surgery
Neuro obs
IV fluids
Nimodipine

What are complications of SAH?
A
Death - 50%
Re-bleed
Cerebral ischaemia
Hydrocephalus
