Young female patient presents with breast mass. Physical exam reveals a 2 cm mobile, well-circumscribed mass in the upper outer quadrant of her left breast. The mass is firm and nontender to palpation, and there are no overlying skin changes. No axillary lymphadenopathy is present. A breast ultrasound is performed, showing an oval-shaped, well-circumscribed, and uniformly hypoechoic mass with echogenic thin fibrous internal septations.
