criteria includes: Purpura/petechiae
- arthritis/arthralgia
- abdominal pain
- histopathology demonstrating immunoglobulin A deposition
- hematuria/proteinuria
lilac ring or violacous inflammatory border, expands and gets firmer
Localized scleroderma
scaly and hypo pigmented like cigarette paper like wrinkled appearance
lichen scleroses lesions
multiple cafe au lait spots
neurofibromatosis
highest risk of uveitis in JIA patients
age of onset - younger
ANA positive
JIA subtype
ANA of low titer with asymptomatic individuals with normal exam, do they have autoimmune dx?
No, not associated and not predictive of developing an autoimmune disease in future
diarrhea, weight loss, anemia, arthritis
IBD
Treatment for JIA
1st: NSAIDs
2nd: prednisone
Initial test if concerned for dermatomyositis
