- Tachypnoea (RR<60)
- Cyanosis
- Subcostal/intercostal recession
- Expiratory grunting

A
Glass-ground appearance
Air bronchograms

Treatment of RDS?
A
- Avoid hypoxia, acidosis, hypothermia
- Continuous posItive airway pressure (CPAP)
- Ventilate and give surfactant

A
-Fluid overload

- Morbidity
- Chronic lung disease
