A
Neonatal jaundice
- Persistent
- Occurs >14 days after birth
- “Prolonged jaundice”

Cause of biliary atresia?
A
Failure of biliary tract to develop

A
Conjugated bilirubin accumulates in blood (because it has been produced but has no way of entering the gut

- Jaundice
- Pale/chalky white stools
