Enuresis
uncontrolled urination that occurs after child is beyond an age where bladder control is achieved
Primary enuresis
child never been free of bed-wetting
Secondary enuresis
child started bed wetting after development of urinary control

restrict fluids 2 hr prior to bedtime
avoid caffeine
bacteriuria

can be asymptomatic or have UTI symptoms
Persistent UTI
bacteriuria that doesn’t resolve with antibiotics
Febrile UTI
symptomatic bacteriuria w/ fever
can lead to urosepsis
