A

Two + observers are observing and recording behavioural categories in the same way
Correlation is calculated
To be reliable, correlation coefficient must be 0.8

How can you improve reliability

A

Questionnaires- test retest method, closed/ fixed choice is less ambiguous

Interviews- same interviewer, no leading questions

Experiment- lab

Observation- operationalise behavioural categories
