airway
A
- airway= occiput is large so head can tilt forward occluding airway, under 1 larynx is collapsible so more neutral position, if over 1 head tilt chin lift

red flags for sepsis
A
- Unresponsive to social cues/ difficult to rouse
- Health professional worried
- Weak, high-pitched or continuous cry
- Grunting or apnoeic episodes SpO2 <90%
- Severe tachypnoea, tachycardia or bradycardia <60
- No wet nappies/ not passed urine in last 18 hours
- Non-blanching rash or mottled/ ashen/ cyanotic
- Temperature <36 degrees (if under 3-months then temperature <38 degrees)
