Q

How do you manage falp intra and post op

A

Management of intraop flap
- ischemia time
- microvac anastomosis
- vessels selection:
Upper third if face - fa, superficial temporal artery
Middle third face - fa. Sta.
lower third. - fa. Superior thyroid artery

  • intraop arterial anastomosis - spasm, kinking, twisting tension, reanastomose
  • intraop venous anastomosis- kinking twisting twnsion , reanastomose
  • anticoagulation - heparinized irrigation solution
  • general condtion: bp,
Postop
Head neutral position
Good bp
Anticoagulation systematically
close monitoring : color, turgor, capilalry refill
Control swelling
Prevent anemia
