Inflammatory - kim kimura dz
Cystic - sialocele
Obstructive - stone/foreign body/ductal stenosis
Neoplasm
- benign - pleomorphic adenoma, Warthins tumor, oncocytoma
- malignant - MEC, Acinic cell adenoca, adenoid cystic ca.

Mealtime syndrome

A

A collection of symptoms & signs caused by overproduction of saliva when salivary gland is stimulated (i.e. during meal/ increase apetite) where there is blockage in the salivary flow causing swelling and distension of the parotid glnd capsule.
Signs and symptoms resolve completely after meal
