This comes down to Tsar Nicholas only son Alexis being a haemophilic meaning his blood doesn’t clot. In 1907 when it seemed Alexis was going to die Rasputin was called in. The tsarina a highly religous women was. convinced rasputin was gods angel to her. This is how he became a close family friend.

Yes, it strained Tsar and Stolypin prime ministers relationship who disliked Rasputin. Also articles about Rasputin had to be censored bc. of his relationsup with tsarina which led to more gossip. There were worse gossip coming in the first world war about Rasputin however.
