What is metabolic syndrome (Syndrome X)?
A cluster of risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes
What are the risk factors for metabolic syndrome?
Waist size-40in in men, 35 in woman
Cholesterol-elevated triglycerides: 150 mg/dL or use of meds
Low HDL- for men <40 mg/dL, women <50mg/dL
High BP-135 mm Hg systolic, 85 mm Hg diastolic
Fasting blood sugar - fasting glucose level >100 mg/dL
What are some sings and symptoms of Lyme Disease?
Severe headaches
Arthritis with severe joint pain and swelling, particularly the knees and other large joints

Describe what happens in a person with Erbs Palsy.
A paralysis of the arm caused by injury to the upper group of the arm’s main nerves, specifically the severing of the upper trunk C5–C6 nerves.
Is Erbs Palsy a LMN or UMN condition? and what position is the effected upper extremity normally seen in?
LMN, Shows sings of unilateral paralysis of lower arm
The arm is pronated and internally rotated (looks kinda like radial nerve tension test)
