sacred scripture. books which contain the sacred truth of gods revelation and were composed by human authors inspired by the Holy Spirit.
analogy of faith
because god is truth, there is an absolete unity and coherence of truths contained in the various books of the bible. these can never be contradictory, but rather illustrate and shed light on one another and complete plan of revelation
gospel
Good News. News of gods mercy and love revealed in the life, death, and ressurection of christ
prophet
one who speaks for; a person selected by god to speak his name

From the greek term meaning five books referring to the torah, the first five books of the Old Testament: genesis, exodus, leviticus, numbers,and deuteronomy
torah

Prophetic literature
The Old Testament books that comprise the stories of the prophets who cast judgement and warn of divine retribution while calling Israel to repentance. These books include Isaiah, Jeremiah, Baruch, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
New Testament
The twenty seven books of the bible written by sacred authors in the apostolic times; they have Jesus Christ, the incarnate son of god- his life, teachings, passion and glorification, and the beginnings of the church-as their central theme
