Raas Flashcards
What produces angiotensinogen
Liver
Macula Dena’s detects what
Macula Densa secretes what (in response to what)
What does this cause
Bp /nacl
Prostaglandins (when low bp or low nacl in blood)
Causes granular cells —> renin
What secretes renin
In response to what
Granular cells (kidney)
Prostaglandins from macula densa
Renin affect
Angiotensin 1 to 2
What produces ace and where are they
Vascular Endothelial cells of lung
Effect of aldoesterone generally
Na reavsorbed
Blood vol rise
Bp rise
Effect of renin generally
Na reabsorbed
Blood vol rise
Blood pressure rise
Angiotenain2 effect
-
-
- adrenal Cortez —> aldosterone (Zona glomerulosa!!!!!)
- vasoconstriction (esp in efferent arteriolar of kidney glomerulus )
stimulates adh production
- low blood volume
- high osmolality - osmoreceptors in hypothalamus
- lack of negative feedback from adh in blooood
so hypothal produces and post pit secretes
