Q

What occurs during Transcription?

A

DNA strands separate
RNA copies DNA bases(strand called mRNA)
This is aided by the RNA polymerase.

Q

What occurs during Translation?

A

mRNA attaches rRNA
tRNA carries an anticodon and an amino acid
tRNA anticodon is complementary to codon on mRNA molecule
They attach and an amino acid is formed
This continues until stop codon is reached
Protein is folded
