How is lymph formed?
A
- Tissue fluid is forced out of blood plasma in capillaries at arterioles.
- Its continuously removed
- Lymph capillaries flow to thoracic duct returning fluid to blood via subclavian vein
- It is moved by the muscular walls of lymph vessels & body movements
- Lacteals absorb lipids into lymph.

What are the three functions of the lymphatic system?
A
Defense against infection
Take up and transport fats
Collect tissue fluid and return it to the blood.
