A

Project environment describes the fact that a project doesn’t take place inside a vacuum, there are other factors at play. For example we need to consider the market, laws and regulations, and geography, the climate etc. We need to describe these because they may affect the goals of the project, help us to prepare risk and stakeholder analysis. We will be able to determine existing requirements and influences on the project

Person or group with a legitimate interest in the result or course of a project, or persons/groups affected by the project. they can be opponents or supporters

1) Collect stakeholders
a. Determine who is involved and who is affected
2) Evaluate the stakeholders
a. What is their power/influence
b. What is their mindset/situation
