1st Stage: - Dilation of cervix (0-10cm) - Onset of labour to full dilation of cervix 2nd Stage: - Pushing and delivery of baby - 20min-2hrs 3rd Stage: - Delivery of placenta

Most medicines cross the placenta, therefore pregnant women must follow categorisation system found in APF23

- Dont lie down after meals

- Regular gentle excercise
- Healthy diet and adequate nutrition
