  1. Add amylase to starch solution
  2. Add drops of iodine to the amylase solution
  3. record the time when the iodine no longer turns the solution blue

  2. Put the discs in concentration of sugar or salt solution
  3. After 30 Minutes in solution, measure the mass of each potato disc
  4. Using the initial mass and final mass of each potato disc calculate the change in mass for the discs in different solutions
