Q

What are 2 other types of power?

A

Expert pwoer: derived from specialized skillset

Referent Power- Power granted when well liked by others. One of the best power sources bc when someone likes you they identify with you and if they think youre on the same time like that they will help you.
People cant hold cognitive dissonance. If they like you, they cant dislike you! So they will be biased against bad things they hear about you.
Referent power doesnt need any basis in another form of power or position or anything. Can be built and developed at any time.
