Amantadine, rimantadine, ribavirin, zanamivir, oseltamivir
Which does Current seem to prefer for flu prophylaxis?
Oseltamavir or Zanamivir
What time frame is it advantageous to use prophylactic treatment for the flu / in which populations?
Use right away–most effective if used in first 48 hours, still some effectiveness 48-72 hours, & after 72 hours, don’t bother / immunocompromised
