Mx
A
conservative - hygiene
symptomatic - incision and drainage

Mx small bowel obstruction
A
manage conservatively - NMB, NG tube, IV fluids
if conservative mx fails then surgery

abdo pain, fever, delirium, prolonged ileus, sepsis
