used in TB therapy for 2 months
causes optic neuritis/ yellowing of vision
Side effects of isoniazid
Used in TB therapy for 6 months
causes peripheral neuropathy in pt who are high risk: DM, alcohol, renal failure
tx: 10mg pyridoxine - B6
Side effects of Rifamipicin
TB therapy for 6 months
causes orange red URINE
G-CSF
granulocyte- colony stimulating factor
- growth factor
- improves neutrophil count
- routinely used after intensive chemo
IL-3
stimulates differentiation of multi-potent hematopoietic stem cells into myeloid progenitor cells
