עד גיל ההתבגרות, שלושת העצמות מחוברות בסחוס היאליני
האיחוי הגרמי מתחיל בגיל ההתבגרות ומסתיים בגיל 20-25
מבחינת כיוונים:
איליון נמצאת בחלק הסופריורי
פיוביס נמצאת בחלק האינפריורי-אנטריורי
אישיום נמצאת בחלק האינפריורי-פוסטריורי
