What is an ‘Encore Ride’?
A ride that offers more opportunities for Members to race friends and other riders by allowing Members to join re-airings of live classes they may have missed.

What does ‘Class Preview’ show?
It shows the ‘Class Plan’ and ‘View Playlist’ buttons
What does the ‘Class Plan’ show?
It shows the breakdown of the class flow.
What does ‘View Playlist’ show?
It shows a list of songs played in the class.
What are the 7 different areas of the class screen?
Cadence, Output, Resistance, Leaderboard, Progress Bar, Remaining Time, and Collapse/Hide Button
What is ‘Cadence’?
Cadence is measured in rotations per minute or RPM (how fast you are pedaling)
What is ‘Output’?
Output is measured in watts (how much power you are exerting at any point in time) You can increase your output by increasing your cadence, resistance, or both
What is ‘Resistance’?
Resistance is measured as a percentage of the maximum resistance, 0-100% (your level of difficulty, which can be set by turning the resistance knob). Turn the knob right to increase difficulty and left to decrease difficulty
What does the ‘Leaderboard’ display?
The Leaderboard displays riders that have taken the ride or are currently in the ride and their rank. You can apply filters to widen or narrow the view.
What does the ‘Progress Bar’ show?
where you are in the class
What does ‘Remaining Time’ show?
the remaining time left in the class
What does the ‘Collapse/Hide Button’ do?
Allows the class area to be hidden
What does ‘Watts’ mean?
how much power you are exerting at any point in time
How can Riders increase or decrease your Output?
You can increase or decrease your output by increasing or decreasing your cadence, resistance, or both
RPM is how fast you are
pedaling.
How can the Rider change the level of difficulty (resistance)?
By turning the resistance knob.
What happens when the Rider turns the Resistance Knob to the right?
It increases the difficulty/resistance.
What happens when the Rider turns the Resistance Knob to the left?
It decreases the difficulty/resistance.
What percentage range is resistance measured in?
0-100%

What is the ‘Wave’ icon and where does it appear?
The Wave icon sends another Rider a ‘High Five’. It appears over a Rider’s profile picture/username.
Which classes can a Rider send another Rider a Wave/High Five?
Live or On-Demand classes when filtering the Leaderboard to ‘Here Now’.
How and where would a Rider see a received High Five?
Through a notification pop-up on the left-hand side of the screen.
How often can Members receive or give a High Five?
Members can’t give or receive more than one high five a minute per Member, so they will never feel distracted.
Where is the in-class music displayed?
On the top, left-hand corner of the screen.
What is a ‘Power Zone’?
A method of fitness training designed to work at seven different levels (or zones) of exertion.
Each zone is a range of output (or work) that is appropriate for you to achieve given the desired intensity of each zone.
So, the rider’s focus is on maintaining the desired cadence while adding enough resistance to achieve the desired output specific to your zone.
In which class does the instructor typically call out a cadence range, but instead of giving a resistance range, they specify the zone you should be working in?
The ‘Power Zone’ class.
What does a Rider need to do in order to get started with ‘Power Zone’ classes?
To get started with ‘Power Zones’, head to the ‘Account Settings’ section under ‘My Info’.
Enable Power Zones and then enter your best average output or Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for a 20-minute class. You will now see Power Zones when you ride!
How can Riders give Feedback about a class, instructor, stream quality, playlist, or class difficulty?
At the end of each class, there will be an option to rate the class with either a thumbs up or a thumbs down, as well as an option to rate the class overall, the instructor, playlist, stream quality, and difficulty.
How many Riders can a Member have on one account?
There is no limit to the number of riders you can have on your account.
What are the third-party services that can be synced with a Rider profile?
Facebook, Strava, and FitBit
What two ways can a Rider sync their third-party services to their Rider Profile?
By going to:
‘Account Settings’ on the lower, right-hand corner (the three dots) of the touchscreen under the ‘Social’ tab
By going to:
‘Account Settings’ by clicking on the rider profile on the bottom, left-hand side of the touchscreen and clicking on the gear icon below the profile image, and clicking ‘View All Profile Settings’.
How can a Rider access the ‘Device Settings’?
By tapping the time on the top, right-hand corner of the touchscreen.
What is the ‘Metric’ class type?
These classes are all about the numbers. Stay in step with resistance and cadence cues.
What is the ‘Pro Cyclist’ class type?
ride alongside professional road cyclists to sharpen both studio and road cycling skills
What is the ‘Low Impact’ class type?
low impact ride that lets you warm up, cool down, or get your heart rate pumping without stressing your joints
What is the ‘Power Zone’ class type?

What is the ‘Intervals’ class type?
focuses on specific training for fitness results and includes HIIT, intervals, intervals and arms, speed, and tabata (Tabata is a type of HIIT workout that aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time. For each exercise, you do eight rounds of 20 seconds of strenuous exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest.)
What is the ‘Heart Rate Zone’ class type?
heart rate zone training is a method based on 5 zones of effort. Zone 1 is very easy and 5 very challenging.
