What is Normal pressure hydrocephalus
Usually present in elderly.
Enlargement of the cerebral ventricles without enlargement of CSF pressure.
Presents with urinary incontinence, dementia and gait disturbances.
What test is always abnormal in delirium, regardless of cause?
Electroencephalogram- always shows diffuse slowin, regardless of the cause
what is arnold chiari syndrome
the downward displacement, or herniation, of the cerebellar tonsils through the foramen magnum. Malformations may be congenital or acquired through trauma.
