A
- Hypersensitivity to paracetamol
- Any paracetamol containing product within the last four hours

Dose

Adult: **
* 500 - 1000 mg (1-2 tablets)
* repeated every 4 - 6 hours, maximum of 4 g (8 tablets) per day
**
Paediatric:
Oral solution > 6months
* 15 mg/kg
Repeated every 4-6 hrs
Total max dose 60mg/kg per day
120 mg chewable tablets > 3yrs
* 3 - 6 years 2 tablets (240mg)
* 6 - 9 years 3 tablets (360mg)
Repeated every 4-6 hrs
Total max dose 60mg/kg per day
Children 9 - 12 yrs
* 500mg tablet
* 0.5 - 1 tablet (250 - 500mg)
Repeated every 4-6 hrs
Total max dose 60mg/kg per day
