Dose

A

Adult Nebulised
* 500 microg in 2 mL (250 microg/mL)
* dilute with 2-3ml NaCL 0.9%
* Repeat every 20 mins as required (total max dose 1.5mg)
Can be used concurrently with 5mg salbutamol in same nebuliser

Adult MDI
8 puffs (160 mcg), 1 breath per puff, where possible use spacer
Repeat MDI dose every 20 mins (total max 3 doses)

Paediatric Nebulised <6 yrs
* 250microg in1 mL
* Repeat every 20 mins as required (total max dose 750mcg)

Paediatric MDI less than 6 yrs
4puffs (80mcg), 1 breath per puff, where possible use spacer
Repeat MDI dose every 20 mins (total max 3 doses)

Paediatric Nebulised >6 yrs
* 500 microg in 2 mL (250 microg/mL)
* dilute with 2-3ml NaCL 0.9%
* Repeat every 20 mins as required (total max dose 1.5mg)

PaediatricMDI >6 yrs
