Contraindications
A
- Known hypersensitivity to aspirin / salicylates / NSAIDs
- Children < 16 years of age

Dose
A
Patient > 16yrs - PO 300mg, chewed or dissolved in a small amount of water (depending on presentation)
- single dose only
- Given even if patient has taken their own daily Aspirin or on anti coagulants

Side Effects
A
Epigastric pain/Discomfort
Nausea AND/OR vomitting
Gastritis
Gi Bleeding
NSAID indused bronchospam
