A
  • Known hypersensitivity to aspirin / salicylates / NSAIDs
  • Children < 16 years of age

Dose

A

Patient > 16yrs - PO 300mg, chewed or dissolved in a small amount of water (depending on presentation)

  • single dose only
  • Given even if patient has taken their own daily Aspirin or on anti coagulants
