PAR-Q (PHYSICAL ACTIVITY READINESS QUESTIONAIRE)

PHASES OF A WARM-UP:
CARDIOVASCULAR= PULSE RAISER, KEEP AT SAME PACE, MHR
STRECHING= MUSCLES ARE NOT COLD BEFORE A GAME/KEEP ON THE MOVE E.G. HAMSTRING
SPORTS SPECIFIC= GK-WARM THE HANDS UP/ALL SPORTS
EVERY TRAINING SESSION OR MATCH SHOULD START WITH A CARDIO WARM-UP TO RAISE YOUR HEART RATE GRADUALLY
STRECHING=STATIC, DYNAMIC
COOL-DOWN:
A COOL DOWN CAN BE JOGGED AND CAN BE USED TO RETURN THE HEART RATE GRADUALLY TO IT’S RESTING LEVEL.
TAKES ABOUT 5-10MINS ON THE SPOT, 10-15MINS OF STRECHING AND STATIC FOR ABOUT 30-35SECS EACH REP DEPENDS ON YOUR SET.
