What are the immediate effects of exercise on blood pressure?
As you start to exercise your heart starts to pump blood harder and faster to supply your working muscles with oxygenated blood so they don’t fatigue. As a result, systolic blood pressure rises.
Why is it important that our heart rate and breathing rate increase during a warm-up?
This is important so our body coul start pumping out oxygenated blood around the body so that we can control our breathing properly without our muscles fatiguing or getting tired which would have a negative effect on your performance because your building up lactic acid. For this not to happen your body tries to get rid of carbon dioxide.
How do you work out your stroke volume?
Heart rate x cardiac output
