Mindfulness
Used as a therapeutic technique, often involving meditation, with the individual taking into account the present.
It concerns our environmental awareness and our relationships with others at a particular point in time.
Progressive muscular relaxation
Much more lengthier process then than self relaxation but can be very effective
Biofeedback
- Used to collect data such as heart rate, blood pressure and respiration rates
Centring
Similar to mindfulness in that you focus on the here and now and concentration is shifted to the centre of the body
