Management of pancreatic cancer
A
<20% are suitable for surgery at diagnosis
- Whipple’s (pancreaticoduodenectomy) for resectable lesions in the head of pancreas.
- adjuvant chemotherapy is usually given following surgery
- ERCP with stenting = used for palliation
- palliative chemotherapy
