tip of tail and it is apart of splenorenal ligament

in c-shaped concavity of duodenum
Where does the mesenteric artery and vein pass the pancreas
posterior to neck and anterior to uncinate process
What artery runs along superior surface of pancreas?
splenic artery
What artery runs along posterior surface of pancreas?
splenic vein
What is the pancreas drained by?
pancreatic duct and accessory pancreatic duct
What does the pancreatic duct drain?
neck, body, tail of pancreas
What does the pancreatic duct and common bile duct make when they form together?
hepatopancreatic ampulla
What does the accessory pancreatic duct drain?
head and uncinate process of pancreas
