• Report to maintenance and record in vehicle repair book
• Contact customer service control to arrange regular toilet stops at stations on long journeys and inform joining passengers

Maintenance maybe to assist you to fix it

• Report to maintenance and record in vehicle repair book
• Have station staff use platform ramps if available
• Make alternative arrangements if required such as the next train service or contact customer service control to arrange transport

What to do with a defective GSM-R?

Answer 3

• Front cab:
  Report to DCM, record in vehicle repair book

Remain in the rear of the cab to listen for emergency calls and apply emergency brakes if required

Train removed from service ASAP

• Rear cab:
  Continue as normal but record in the vehicle repair book
