always recorded as a number 1-5 indicating degree of severity e.g 4D indicates tooth displacement from the arch + 5A indicates large overjet

• mouth mirror for viewing
• measuring ruler to record overjet / overbite
• alginate impression items for study models
• pink wax - record current occlusal bite so study model can be trimmed + set up
• film packets/cassette + revenant holding to view hard copy dental radiographs
