Largest and strongest chamber, receives blood from the left atrium and pumps blood to the aorta via the aortic valve
Left ventricle
Receives blood from the right atrium via the tricuspid valve and releases the blood into the lungs to pick up oxygen via the pulmonary valve
Right ventricle
2 bottom chambers of the heart. Pump blood out of the heart to the body and lungs
Ventricles
Receives oxygenated blood from the Pulmonary veins and releases it into the left ventricle via the mitral valve
Left atrium
Receives blood returning from the body and releases it into the right ventricle via the tricuspid valve
Right atrium
The 2 top chambers of the heart. ____ receive the blood that has returned to the heart from the body and lungs.

Separates oral cavity from the nasal cavity
