What is in the integumentary system?
Skin, hair, sweat & oil glands.
What is in the skeletal system?
Bones, ligaments, cartilage.
What is in the muscular system?
Muscles, tendons
What is in the nervous system?
Brain, spinal cord, nerves, sensory organs.
What is in the endocrine system?
Hormone secreting glands (pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pineal, thymus), pancreas, ovaries, testes.
What is in the cardiovascular (CV) system?
Heart, arteries, veins, capillaries, blood.
What is in the lymphatic system?
Lymphatic vessels, lymph fluid, lymph glands, thymus, spleen.
What is in the digestive system?
Mouth, tongue, teeth, salivary glands, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small/large intestine.
What is in the respiratory system?
Nasal cavities, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs.
What is in the urinary system?
Kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra.
What is in the reproductive (male) system?
Scrotum, testes, epididymus, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate gland, bulbourethral gland, urethra, penis.
What is in the reproductive (female) system?
Ovaries, uterine fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, vulva (labia majora, labia minora, mons pubis, clitoris, bulb of vestibule, vulval vestibule).
What does the integumentary system do?
Regulates temperature, houses sensory receptors, covers & protects.
What does the skeletal system do?
Frames, protects, movement, makes blood, stores minerals (salts).
What does the muscular system do?
Movement, posture, & a source of heat.
