What is the purpose of OPS Logkeeping?
Provide instructions, document evolutions, provide history of plant ops, guide plant personnel in performance of activities
Who normally maintains “UNIT” logs?
CRS and SM (support from STA)
What do RO’s do for OPS Logkeeping?
Narrative Log for CR and DATA logs from AutoTour
What power level changes are entered by RO into AutoLog?
10% or Greater (Start and Stop)
How do we enter a LATE ENTRY?
Significant Actions or Events not logged chronologically must be logged as LATE ENTRY
Correct completion time should be recorded and check “Late Entry” box
How do we take logs on a loss of AutoLog or AutoTour?
AutoLog: For Narrative Logs. Use handwritten
AutoTour: For Operator Rounds. Still use Handheld, transmit to PC when available.
If round readings aren’t started within 1 hour of specified time, what is done?
Reason recorded
Who is notified if it is necessary to skep readings?
CRS each time
Who can approve skipping 2 consecutive sets of readings?
SM (requires prior approval)
