Q

Open guard to rolling toe hold

A

When standing in your opponents open guard grab a grip on the top of their toes with your same side making sure your opposite side leg is place inside they knee crease of their opposite leg, from here reach round with your free arm over their leg you have hold of and underneath and grab the wrist of your arm that has hold of their toes in a kimora style grip, from here we roll over our far side shoulder making sure to hook their leg with the leg that’s next to their knee crease so we keep hold of the opponent, this will cause them to roll with us and land on their front and we will be on our back facing our opponent still with the kimora grip on their toes and from here we can bend the foot as if we were trying to out the big toe up the opponents arse to finish

Q

Open guard to single leg x straight ankle lock

A

when standing in our opponents open guard with both our legs in-between the opponents with the same side arm we grab a grip underneath the opponent achilies and tuck their foot under our armpit making sure to get it as high up into our armpit as possible making it easier to finish the submission, we should also place this same arms hand high up on our own chest to keep the grip on their ankle tight, From here we drop back onto out bum and place the leg on the same side as the ankle we’re gripping under the leg and our foot on the opponent hip and the other legs knee in-between the opponents leg with the foot hooking their free leg and we must make sure our knee and foot are squeezing tight together to keep their leg locked in, from here we drop the shoulders down and back and extend our hips to finish
