Full ATLS (Advanced trauma life support) assessment
Tetanus + antibiotic prophylaxis
Repeated examination
Photograph, cover + stabilise limb (fixation)
NO IRRIGATION (i.e. saline) OF WOUND
X-ray
Indications for emergency urgent surgery (4)
Polytraumatised
Marine or farmyard contamination
