Universal design
Accessible
Adaptable
Visitable
Universal: design should be for as many as people
Accessible: for handicap - Meeting the codes
Adaptable: you can design in a way. (Not everything is accessible )then adapt it if you need it. Like a moveable cabinet- or having space for grab bars if you need it in future. Altering quickly.
Visitable: new concept
Handicaps can move into the other spaces and visit it. Like living room and part of a kitchen. Or courtyard in a residential building is accessible. The handicaps can move to go and visit his friend
What floor materials have the ability of heat sync?
Concrete
Brick
Tile
Slate
Convective currents
Think about where the windows should be. Air will move in from one window and move out of the other window. And pull out some other air from the same room.
Cross venting is a kind of convective currents .
