Labour introduced tuition fees for higher education,
This put off W/C students from going to university

SATS + GCSEs scores improved significantly

A-C economy
Did not improve writing, only analyse and grammar skills
What did the Education Action Zones do?
Provide extra $ for schools in deprived areas

Helps to break the cycle of deprivation,
as they get more resources and support
