What are 3 netball rules?

A

1) The ball must be received within the centre third of the court.
2) The ball must touch the ground after being thrown in the hoop for it to count as a point.
3) The person who is holding the ball must pass it within 3 seconds of receiving it.
4) You must not move with the ball in your hand.
5) To mark a player you must be at least a meter away from the opponent.
6) Goals can only be scored by players that have been assigned to shoot.
7) No contact allowed. ( if there is contact that player must stand by the player they came in contact with and they get a free pass)
8) The ball can’t be passed further than a third along the court.

What is the aim of the game in netball?

A

For teams to pass around a ball and shoot as many goals into the goal ring as they can. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.

A
