2) hypoK, low serum renin, high serum aldo, & normal urine K excretion.

HyperCa

1) Initial Tx
2) Furosemide
3) Adjunctive Tx
4) Caused by hormonal Tx

Answer 2

1) IV fluid: Correct volume contraction. (This will reduce sCa)
2) Prevents HF from IV fluid
3) Alendronate & calcitonin: take 1-2 days to reduce sCa.
4) Prednisone if HyperCa induced by PTH or Vit D.
