Infectious mononucleosis

2) Very elevated liver enzymes & bilirubin.

1) Adrenal insufficiency: Hypotension, hypoNa, hyperK with normal sCr.
2) ACTH stimulation test
Scarlet fever
1) Def
2) Chracteristic of skin lesions
1) Rash secondary to strep tonsillopharyngitis
2) Typical rash is generalized erythema that blances and has papules. It spares perioral region and is accentuated in the axilla.
Acute pulmonary TB: Mgmt
- Hospitalization with respiratory isolation
- Isonazid, rifampin, and pyrazinamide PO
- Notify public health
Prophylaxis for N. meningitidis & H. influenzae Meningitis.
Rifampin 10 mg/kg BID for 2 & 4 days respectively.
