- Altered conscious state with respiratory depression secondary to administration of opioids

- Nil significance

A
- If Pt is known to me physically dependent on opioids be prepared for combativeness
- Neonates

Side effects
A
- Sweating, goose flash, tremor
- Nausea and vomiting
- Agitation
- Dilated pupils
- Convulsions

Pharmacology
A
Naloxone is a competitive opioid antagonist which competes with opioids at receptors sites to reverse effects of opioids
